TODAY-Question: I have a relaxer and I noticed that my hair is not as thick any more and when I comb it comes out a lot,What do U suggest? Mrs. Holte Rita's Answer-Hi Mrs Holte, There are a number of factor and reasons why our hair tends to thin out after many years of relaxers.
Lack of vitamins, over processing or improper usage of hair care products, for example after a relaxer we must follow up with deep treatments for two weeks and then continue with our regular hair care regiments. This hair tips I have done for many years specially for new clients with hair loss issues and it works within the first treatment you must follow up once week until your hair stop shedding. You will need: Baba de caracol shampoo Baba de caracol Hair treatment Baba de caracol conditioner (rinse) Baba de caracol leave in treatment olive oil, pure coconut oil and vitamin E oil
You can premix your hair treatment with the olive, coconut and vitamin E oil MIX WITH PLASTIC OR WOODEN SPOON DO NOT USE METAL
1- After washing your hair rinse well with warm water 2-Apply hair treatment directly on the scalp and massage the scalp with your finger tips (never use your nails)on your scalp ( this will treat not only your hair but it will take care of your scalp as well )
3- Cover with plastic cap and leave on for 15 to 20 minutes, then Rinse well with warm water and do not leave any residues on your hair
4-Apply baba rinse (conditioner) and proceed to carefully detangle your hair, Then rinse well
5-Apply baba leave in treatment- Rollo set or style your hair as usual. Mrs Holte this hair care procedure require a little more time than usual treatments. How ever it is an excellent way to re store your hair and scalp heath and you can do it at home. Give it a try! DHT is responsible for about 90% of hair loss DHT tends to stop proteins, vitamins and minerals from providing the nourishment to the follicles to sustain life in the hair. DHT prolong the resting time of our hair, cause the hair follicles to reproduce at a slower rate and shortens the growing phase of the hair follicles.
Question: I am trying to find a regimen that will get my hair healthy and get it to grow past my shoulders. My hair always shed, while I only use heat once a week PLEASE help me shantell.
Rita's Answer-Hello Shantell, there are things you may need to do to improve your hair condition, first of all you need to understand what is the cause of the problem, is your hair bleached, over process, could it be stress?
1-When relaxing your hair, waiting (eight) weeks or longer between relaxers is a most, anytime before that will definitely cause over process to your hair, make sure to only relax the new growth. 2-Give up flat irons and hot curlers, the direct heat causes dehydration and breakage. 3-Also, very important to make sure your beautician understands and practice hair care. 5-After all of the above is under control, continue your hair care regiment by adding hair products rich in moisture; Boe hair growth treatments are a perfect combination for your hair care need These phito therapeutic treatments consists of the use of natural plants, excellent for hair growth. I am sure you will see a difference in your hair within the first treatment.
